Baronfig is Truly a Functional Planner Brand

Baronfig is a stationery brand that is:
- Simple
- Useful
- Community-Driven
- Charitable
Simplicity
Baronfig products, such as the Confidant notebook and the Squire pen are truly simple. They do exactly what they say they will in a non-fussy way. They’re great quality and something you’d be proud to give as a gift.
Useful
The best characteristic of stationery, in my opinion! There’s just something great about functional products that help you get your life together. The Guardian journal cover is a great example of that!
Community-Driven
Baronfig started as a Kickstarter campaign! And the brand has carried that tradition into their business. They’re committed to listening to the customer and they consider that feedback when improving upon their product.
Charitable
Baronfig plants a tree for every notebook sold! That’s a super fun little bonus added to your purchase, and a nice little tidbit to tell your gift recipient after they open the gift. You know that awkward moment when you’re like “yeah I thought you’d like it” and then you’re like “okay what do I say next?” (…no? That’s just me?)

Baronfig Review
As I’ve mentioned, I think the Baronfig line of stationery is incredibly giftable. For me personally, my husband is super hard to buy for (he just doesn’t want anything!). But I know he really likes nice pens, and he appreciates great quality. It also doesn’t ever occur to him to purchase stationery for himself, so this is the perfect husband gift. I think it’s also a great gift for graduates or people starting a new job or a new chapter in life (marriage, parenthood, etc) that they’d benefit from journaling about.
In this Baronfig review, I’ll introduce you to the following:

Baronfig Confidant Notebook
VERSION | SIZE | PAGES |
3.5″ X 5″ | 160 | |
Flagship | 5.4″ X 7.7″ | 192 |
Plus | 7″ X 10″ | 208 |
Great Gift!
This dot-grid journal is as good quality as the other well-known bound notebooks you’ll find. The paper feels nice and it’s not super thin. The linen hard cover with rounded corners is available in a bunch of colors to suit you or your gift recipient (this one is light gray). It also comes in a nice, sturdy box that is great for wrapping and storage!
Features
- Available with blank, ruled (7mm), or dot grid (5mm) pages
- Acid-free fine grain 90gsm paper
- Lays flat when open
- 12 perforated pages

Baronfig Squire Classic Pen
I think I was the most excited to check out this pen. My husband always steals my pens because I use nice, good quality pens. He appreciates a great pen, but he would never buy one for himself. I found an old Bic stick pen in his truck the other day – it came from the hotel at Disney World. We haven’t been to Disney in a decade! So this pen is going to be great for him.
The Baronfig Squire pen is nice because it is metal and feels nice and weighty in your hand. It also twists to reveal the 0.6mm nib, so he doesn’t have to worry about losing the cap. The ink is nice and juicy and it writes well on the notebook paper. There’s a Hex version available too, so it won’t roll away.
It comes in a fun little cardboard tube with foam insert to keep it steady. It is the perfect size for a holiday stocking stuffer! My husband and I tend to only get each other stockings instead of large gifts for Christmas, so I’m thinking I’ll grab a Hex version of this pen for him this year.

Baronfig Guardian Pro Notebook Case
This water resistant journal cover fits the Flagship (medium) size of the Confidant notebook. The notebook fits nice and snug and lays flat when open. The edges do not interfere with writing in the journal, so you don’t need to remove it to use your notebook.
There’s a slip pocket on the outer front that is about 5″ deep. I chose the tangerine color so it would be easy to see inside my husband’s backpack.

There’s a few more inside the front cover as well, and they all fit my giant old Samsung Note 20 Ultra (except the skinny one, obviously). I love that the elastic pen loop is on the inside spine of the cover. It’s a perfect fit!

Giftable and Functional Stationery
Even though I do not use a Bullet Journal for planning, I understand the versatility this productivity tool brings to the table. That’s why I’m able to recommend this notebook and the accessories after reviewing them. I know you’d be happy to use these to suit your planning needs, as well as proud to give them as a gift this holiday season or for Father’s Day or as a graduation gift.
