Setting Up The Clear Folio

I recently moved my monthly planner into the brand new butter yellow clear planner folio from Erin Condren. One of the best ways to keep your planning simple is having everything you need right at your fingertips. I tucked a clear folio organizer into the back flap to hold stencils and sticky notes, and I keep my perpetual calendar and long-term reference papers in the built-in pocket.

Using Printable Sticky Notes

During April, I heavily relied on printable sticky notes from my shop to make my pages functional. I used the Monthly Checklist and the Mini Calendar sticky notes to add instant structure without having to rewrite things every week. Because they are sticky notes, I can easily move them from week to week (no sticker bulk)!

Moving The Brain Dump Notebook Pages

Sometimes you write a massive list in your brain dump notebook, but you actually need to reference it in your everyday planner. Instead of rewriting the whole list from now on, I plan to just cut it out. If you gently snip the page out of your coiled notebook, you can add a strip of washi tape to the edge, use a 1/8 inch hole punch, and snap that page directly into your main planner. I actually don’t think I need to add the washi as reinforcement so I’m going to try it without. It does look cute though!

The Genesis Bible Study Setup

My Bible study routine was a little chaotic in April, and that is completely fine. I am still using my customized Erin Condren notebook for my Genesis study. I realized that if I get behind on setting up my weekly pages, it creates a massive barrier to actually sitting down to read. My goal for May is to pre-draw all of my weekly study grids in advance so I can just sit down, listen to my Dwell app, and take notes without the friction.
