Unboxing the Colorful Hexagon LifePlanner
This year, I chose the vibrant “Hexagon” design for my new LifePlanner, and let me tell you, it’s even more stunning in person than in the photos! The grouped hexagons create a mesmerizing, almost gemstone-like effect with their rich and saturated colors. I opted for a gold coil this time, which adds a touch of luxury to the metallic cover.
What’s Inside the Box?
Along with the beautiful LifePlanner, the launch box was filled with some fantastic goodies:
- Welcome Pack: A redesigned welcome pack with some fun new surprises.
- Colorful 12-Pack Dual Tip Markers: After years of anticipation, Erin Condren has finally released a set of 12 dual-tip markers in colors that perfectly coordinate with the LifePlanner tabs!
- B6 Slim Monthly Planner: A compact monthly planner, perfect for on-the-go planning and mirroring the design of the LifePlanner but with thin paper similar to Japanese-style planners.
- “Enjoy the Journey” Designer Sticker Book (Hexagon): A sticker book packed with 12 pages of new designs, including washi tape stickers, functional labels, and decorative elements that perfectly complement the Hexagon LifePlanner.
First Look at the 2025-2026 LifePlanner Features
Opening up the new LifePlanner revealed some exciting updates and familiar favorites:
- New Welcome Cards: Instead of the previous compliment cards, we now have larger, beautifully designed postcards, including a black dual-tip marker as a bonus!
- Stencil Bookmark: The beloved snap-in stencil bookmark returns, perfect for habit tracking, creating checkboxes, and using as a time indicator.
- Three Stunning Interior Designs: This year’s collection features three distinct designs: the colorful and geometric Hexagon, the pastel floral Bouquet, and the clean and simple Minimal.
- Updated Interior Pages: The “Year at a Glance” and “12 Boxes” pages remain, offering flexible planning options. (Find inspiration on how to use these pages.)
- Bonus Monthly Spreads: A fantastic addition! The new LifePlanner* includes monthly spreads for May and June 2025, allowing you to start planning immediately upon arrival. *July-start planners only
- Revamped Monthly Dashboard Page: This page now features a dedicated large checklist on the side, along with spaces for priorities and notes, offering enhanced functionality.
- Introducing the New Dashboard Weekly Layout: This is a game-changer for those who love a week-on-one-page layout! It features the days of the week alongside a dedicated dashboard with sections for priorities, habit tracking (with a Monday start!), a to-do list, and a large notes section. This new layout replaces the Compact Vertical layout.
- Bold and Colorful Tabs: The monthly tabs are incredibly vibrant and feature inspiring quotes on the facing page.
- Updated Sticker Pages: The sticker pages at the back of the planner have been refreshed with more versatile designs and a new, much-loved font for the “Happy Birthday” and “Celebrate” stickers.
- Add-On Options: While every planner includes 10 lined notes pages, you can still add extra lined pages, productivity pages, goal-setting pages, or the new budget pages to your LifePlanner.
- Important Date Pages & Contacts: The familiar heritage and awareness observances and contacts pages are included.
- Forward Planning: A page for 2027 planning is included at the back.
Important Changes to Note for the Erin Condren LifePlanner Launch
While there are many exciting additions, there are also a couple of important changes to be aware of:
- No More A5 Weekly Layouts: Erin Condren will no longer offer weekly layouts in the A5 size (this includes both horizontal and compact vertical).
- 7×9 Compact Vertical Discontinued: The 7×9 compact vertical weekly layout has been replaced by the new Dashboard layout.
- A5 Daily Duo Still Available: The A5 Daily Duo layout will still be available in both coiled and ring agenda formats.
