The 3 New Interior Designs
This year marks the 20th edition of the LifePlanner, and the brand released 3 distinct interior designs to choose from.

- Legacy: A bright, joyful homage to the brand’s colorful history. Instead of abrupt color changes from month to month, the 12 new colors (featuring shades like Fuchsia, Butter, and Mermaid) form a seamless gradient.
- Toile: A beautiful, timeless floral interior. For the first time ever, the floral option features 12 unique tab colors! Each month has intricate planner scenes with hidden “easter eggs” to spot among the muted tones of Wisteria, Terracotta, and Basil.
- Minimal: A truly neutral palette featuring clean gray tabs and minor font updates to give you a completely blank slate. If you love decorating with colorful sticker kits or just want your handwriting to be the star, this is your option.

What Actually Changed in the Layouts?
Erin Condren made some massive, highly-requested functional updates to the weekly pages this year. If you prefer simple planning, you are going to love these changes.
The Front-Loaded Reference Pages
Across all layouts, the Heritage and Awareness Observances pages, as well as the Contacts pages, were moved from the back of the planner to the very front, right after your yearly calendar. The Yearly Calendar also received a functional upgrade, adding 4 lined columns at the bottom of the page so you can easily write down notes or create a color-coding key.
The Lined Vertical Layout

This is the biggest functional change! Every single 1.5-inch vertical box now features printed lines matching the 1/4-inch spacing of the notes pages. This makes it incredibly easy to write neat, organized lists without relying on a ton of stickers. They also upgraded the weekly sidebar to include a built-in 11-line checklist and 2 weekly habit trackers.
The Updated Horizontal Layout

If you loved the Horizontal layout before, it just got better. They removed the long lined box at the bottom of the page and replaced it with a blank box and 3 built-in habit trackers at the start of every week. The daily boxes are slightly taller at 1 15/16 inches, but the width of the shaded box stayed exactly the same at 1 9/16 inches.
The Daily Duo Dashboard
If you use the Daily Duo, you will notice a huge upgrade to the 2-page DATED weekly overview spread. They transformed it into a highly functional Dashboard layout, adding habit trackers, a priorities box, a checklist, and lined notes space right before your daily pages begin.

What Stayed the Same?
While the functional upgrades are exciting, the core elements that make the LifePlanner a reliable tool remain unchanged.

- The Hourly and Dashboard Layouts: The weekly structure did not undergo any major layout shifts, simply updating to feature the new design colorways. (Watch my Dashboard Layout review from last year).
- The Paper: The planners still use the thick, premium 80-pound Mohawk paper that resists ink bleeding.
- The Coils: The sturdy platinum coil comes standard, with options to upgrade to gold (+$10) or rose gold (+$10).
- Notes Pages: You still get 10 lined notes pages in the back of the planner, with the option to add 40 more if you need extra space for brain dumps and project planning.
- Sticker Widths: The width of the daily columns in the Vertical layout remains 1.5 inches.

The Daily Duo Review (Coming Soon!)
I decided to order the 7×9 Daily Duo this year! While I still plan to use my Monthly planner for my main weekly layouts, I want to try keeping the Daily Duo downstairs on my kitchen table to act as a running, dated daily to-do list. Once it arrives, I will post a full flip-through video right here!
