Creating a Simple Family Command Center with the Erin Condren Wall Organization System
With back-to-school mode in full swing, I realized our current organization system just wasn’t working. It was time to create a functional family command center in the kitchen where everyone could see it, and I knew the Erin Condren Wall Organization System would be the perfect solution.

The System: A Customizable Solution
I chose two boards to create our command center: the Custom Color Monthly Schedule and the Productivity Wall Organization Center.
One of my favorite features is the level of customization. You can add your family name or any phrasing you like right at the top and choose from a variety of beautiful colors (I went with Monaco). Crucially for me, the monthly calendar can be ordered with a Monday start, which is a rare find for reusable wall calendars and a game-changer for how I plan my week.
Another thing I love about this system is its flexibility. The frames and inserts are sold as a set initially. But I can also order the insert boards separately, which means I can freshen up my command center in the future by simply swapping out an insert. If our needs change, I could easily add a Weekly Schedule for a more detailed view, or even a Chore Chart to help my son track his responsibilities. This adaptability ensures the system will continue to serve our family well for years to come.
Installation & Accessories
The installation was surprisingly simple. The boards come with all the necessary hardware and instructions, so all I needed was a pencil, a level, and a Phillips screwdriver.
To make the command center even more functional, I added a few key accessories. The magnetic and cork strips are perfect for pinning up important notes or invitations. The colorful magnetic date dots make setting up the month quick and fun, and the retractable dry erase markers mean I never have to search for a cap!
