My Goal School Premium membership comes up a lot in my planning videos, and naturally, people question if it is worth it. I get a lot out of my membership and did not hesitate to sign up again as soon as I got the opportunity to do so. However, since goals and learning styles are all so unique to each person’s journey, it’s important that you have the information you need to decide if Goal School Premium is right for you.

Goal School Premium Membership Deal
The Goal School Premium membership is currently on special pricing through October 1, 2024. Since it’s a limited time discount, I want to tell you all about it so that you can make an informed decision before the discount ends.
Currently Goal School is on sale for $99 for the annual membership. That’s a flat fee you pay once and you have access all year. In the past, Goal School membership was available quarterly, but it has changed to annual only. The doors are open now, so if you want to participate in Goal School, grab your membership before the price goes up! After the sale, the price increases to $199. Note: my coupon code stacks on general sales, but does not usually apply to special pricing like this or bundle deals.

When you sign up now, you’ll get some bonus content from October and November to get started early while you wait for your membership to begin in December. And for a limited time, when you purchase PowerSheets or Fresh Start goal planners in the same transaction, you’ll receive a free exclusive Goal School themed sticker pack. The sticker promotion ends when the stickers run out.
What is Goal School?
Goal School Premium is a large group coaching and accountability membership for those looking for support with their goals. It’s hosted by Cultivate What Matters, the same brand that makes my favorite goal planner, PowerSheets.
There’s a membership section on the website which gives you access to a special dashboard with all the links, videos, schedules, and downloads you’ll need to get the most out of your membership. There’s also a private Facebook group that is only for people in the current membership year.
Every month there are three live streamed events, plus exclusive downloads and opportunities for product sneak peeks, special discounts, and early access to new product launches. And since your membership begins in December, you get to participate in the Prep Work Party to get your PowerSheets or Fresh Start goal planner all set up for the following year. This is a very valuable resource because Prep Work can be daunting, but it’s really the most important step of the process.
The main events are hosted on Zoom, where you can choose to keep your camera on or off! The Zoom calls are always recorded in case you can’t make it live. The event schedule alternates between daytime (12pm Eastern) and evening (8pm Eastern) every month to give more people an opportunity to attend live. If you can’t make it live, you can always catch the replay, which will be emailed to you and can be found on your dashboard.
Goal School Masterclasses
In the middle of the month, there’s a masterclass which covers topics related to all kinds of goals and each part of the process. Here are just a few class titles to give you an idea:
- How To Break Down A Goal
- How To Craft Action Items For Success
- How To Monitor Progress And Adjust
- How To Develop Healthy Hustle Mentality
- How To Use Margin To Help You Achieve Your Goals
- How To Notice And Celebrate Success

Goal School Masterclasses come with exclusive workbook downloads and the slides from the presentation. You’ll get access to them early to have time to prepare if you want to print them or send them to your tablet. Sometimes there are optional breakout sessions at the end of the class if you want to connect with others in a small group.
Tending List Prep Parties
The live Tending List Prep Party occurs around the 25th of the month. In this meeting, you’ll go through prepping your goals and setting up your Tending List for the following month. You can use either the annual PowerSheets or one of the Fresh Start goal planners and get the same experience. Every quarter, you’ll have time to work on your Quarterly Refresh during this meeting.
Goal School Prep Parties provide a great opportunity to learn if you struggle with staying focused on choosing your goals or understanding how to break down a goal because you can always ask those questions in the chat as you’re doing your tending list.
Power Hour
At the end of the month during the daytime, there’s always a Power Hour Zoom call. This is a casual meeting – usually with fewer people than the other events – where you set an intention at the beginning of the call to work on something from your list for an hour. Then you just co-work “together” on the call with some focus music playing until the time is up. It’s a great opportunity to finish strong before moving on to the next Tending List.
Book Club
There’s also an unofficial book club that is usually hosted by a member. Even though it’s not officially from Cultivate What Matters, it’s a nice addition and people really enjoy it. The book club usually reads and discusses self improvement books related to goal setting. Because it is subject to the host’s schedule, I think the day and time varies, but it seems like it usually occurs on Saturdays.
Is Goal School Premium Worth It?
Whether or not Goal School Premium is worth it is so personal. If I haven’t already spoiled it, I’ll tell you right now that – for me – it’s 100% worth it. I love the free Wildcard printables, Power Hours, the masterclass workbooks, and connecting with other members in the Facebook Group. I also got to participate in some live shopping with Team Cultivate during the early access PowerSheets launch and that was so much fun!

When I really think about how goal setting has gone for me in the past, and what is different this time around, the answer is PowerSheets and Goal School. I’ve tried other goal setting systems in the past, including their respective membership communities, and they just didn’t stick. I’m not saying those were not good programs, it’s more that Goal School, along with PowerSheets, just works with my brain and complements my own personal journey at this point in my life.
Ok, so real talk. Just like with any program or membership, what you get out of it depends on what you put into it. If you’re at a point where you’re genuinely too busy to participate (whether it’s live or a replay), you probably won’t get much out of it. If you don’t make time to fill out your Tending List, your PowerSheets aren’t going to magically accomplish your goals for you. These are tools to help you navigate the process of setting your goals and figuring out how to live them out in a realistic way that makes sense for your personal life and situation.
Do I Have to Do All the Things to Get My Money’s Worth?
I don’t do everything that Goal School offers. I still feel like I get my money’s worth, especially with the special pricing. Here’s why:
- I usually keep my camera off during Zoom calls. I’ll turn it on during the Power Hours if there’s not a ton of people. And if – let’s be real – I’ve brushed my hair and/or put on a bra. (Sorry not sorry!)
- I don’t usually stay for the breakout sessions. I want to, but I am still working on leaving myself enough margin in my days. I’m usually needing to move on to the next thing.
- I haven’t done the Book Club yet. I might in the future when I get better at working everything in.
- I go in phases with Facebook in general (not just the Goal School group). There are months where I don’t post in there or read others’ posts. When I do participate I love it! But you don’t really need to use Facebook if you don’t want to.
Is Goal School Premium Religious?
No, Goal School Premium does not focus on religion. The parent company to Cultivate What Matters is a Christian company called The Daily Grace Co. Cultivate does sell religious products, but both PowerSheets and Goal School do not utilize scripture or religious content. Many Cultivate products actually cite the sources in the back on a bibliography page. You can see for yourself where the teaching comes from (hint: behavior and psychology experts and scientists accepted in both social and scholarly circles).
For context, I had a mostly secular upbringing and I am not religious. I do have both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history. I minored in religion – focusing on Christianity – for my undergrad. I’ve read the whole Bible from a scholarly standpoint and I know how to recognize religious bias. If you practice another religion, or if you’re not into religion at all, you shouldn’t have any problem participating in Goal School.
Budget-Friendly Alternative to Goal School Premium
If you are still not sure if Goal School is right for you, or if you’re just not in a position to sign up this year, I would recommend checking out the Purposeful Productivity course. Is only $19 and it does go on sale sometimes. I think that my coupon code KRISTANKREMER actually applies to that too! I have taken this class and I really liked it. It’s not live. It’s a pre-recorded course but it comes with a really great and thorough workbook and videos to watch for each section. I learned a lot!
In the course you learn how to figure out what matters in your day and then how to break down those things that matter into steps. You’ll also learn how to put everything into action. It helps you figure out where to put all of those things in your planner. I definitely recommend the course even as someone who has done the annual Goal School Premium membership. The content doesn’t really overlap.
Free Alternative to Goal School Premium
If you follow my channel and my blog, feel free to talk about goals in the comments! I am happy to discuss goals with you and help you work through anything that you might have questions on. I always have super long videos on my channel about how I incorporate goals into my weekly and monthly plans. Those videos are totally all free! Just subscribe to my YouTube channel so that you don’t miss any of the videos. Then just chime in the comments. I’d love to have you in the fam!
Final Thoughts on Goal School
To summarize, I wholeheartedly recommend an annual Goal School Premium membership. I think it’s very worth it – especially at the $99 price that ends on October 1st 2024. The $99 special divded by the three main goal school events each month is less than $3 per event. I’m new to PowerSheets and Goal School this year (2024) and I already know from now on this is the system for me. Even if I don’t purchase anything else from the brand in the future, I know with 100% certainty that I’ll always save money all year to purchase my PowerSheets and Goal School Premium membership. They are non-negotiable from here on out!
Let me know what you think about the Goal School Premium membership. Do you think that it’s something that you would like to sign up for either now or in the future? Again, I totally recommend it and I don’t think you’ll regret signing up.
