I’m so excited to finally share my 2025 planner setup with you all. I had originally planned to film a “plan with me” style video, but unfortunately, I got really sick and just needed to get my planner functional ASAP.
Even though I wasn’t able to film the setup process, I still wanted to share how I’m using my Plum Paper planner this year. Hopefully, this will give you some ideas and inspiration for your own 2025 planner!

Planner Choice and Customization
This year, I’m using a discbound planner from Plum Paper. I love how customizable these planners are! You can choose everything from the cover design to the weekly layout. I opted for a Monday start, which is perfect for me, and added a clear cover from Planner Kate for extra protection.
Planner Features and How I’m Using Them
Year at a Glance

I kept this page simple, using erasable pens to mark down my husband’s time off, school holidays, and Formula 1 races. This helps me see important dates at a glance and plan accordingly.
Special Dates
This section is for appointments and other important dates I need to remember. Basically just anything that is coming up later in the year.
Monthly Spreads
I’m using the monthly spreads for pre-planning the rest of the year and for all of my important appointments each month. Anything that I need to put in my weekly plans later goes on the monthly calendar.
Monthly Dashboard
I like to keep all of my running lists here to refer back to throughout them month. This includes a basic to do list, any school information, menu plans, and task lists related to my goals. I usually keep my tracker sticky notes here as well!
Weekly Spreads

I use the weekly spreads for my daily tasks and appointments. I love the horizontal week-on-one-page layout! The dashboard page is a great place to categorize all my lists and reminders.
Notes Pages
I’ve added a variety of notes pages to my planner, including a 1,000 hours tracker, a savings tracker, a scripture memory page, a workout tracker, and more. I love how the discbound system allows me to add, move, and remove pages as needed.

Tips and Tricks
- Remove Bulk: Since this is a disc planner I can remove most of the weekly spreads for the rest of the year that are not in use. I preplan everything on the monthly pages, so I left those in, and put the weekly spreads safely in a file folder.
- Planner Kate Accessories: I used several Planner Kate accessories in my setup, including covers, stickers, and dividers. I love how these accessories add functionality and personality to my planner. Shop PlannerKate with my coupon code KK20 to save an extra 20%!
- Cultivate What Matters: I also used several Cultivate What Matters products, including their 1,000 hours tracker and wildcard inserts. These products help me stay focused on my goals and priorities. Use my Cultivate What Matters coupon code KRISTANKREMER to save an extra 10%!
- Repurposing Old Planners: I repurposed several pages from old planners, including a Happy Planner and an Erin Condren planner. This is a great way to save money and reduce waste. Watch this video to learn more about how I did this!
2025 Planner Setup Thoughts
I’m really happy with how my 2025 planner setup turned out. It’s functional, organized, and reflects my personal style. I’m excited to use it throughout the year to stay on top of my goals and priorities.
